II'll paint, and you'll listen.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. If so what are those words? What do they mean in regards to the image in front of you? How does the image make you feel? Does it speak to you? Are you listening, or are you too busy trying to drown out the sound?. Are you too enchanted by the pretty colors to understand the voice crying out? Are you ready to hear their story?

This is my voice, my heart and my expression. This is also my story, as well as the stories of others whom society has ignored. I decided to name my first and ongoing series of paintings Lifestyles of the Ignored after deep contemplation and researching the issue of homelessness, the poor and the downtrodden. Recently I have  exhibited a series of works entitled  See What I See(CWATIC) and I have a new series of works in the making entitled PreOccupied Territories, however  everything I do can reconnect to my initial series Lifestyles of the Ignored.

After spending nearly 14 years away from something that had become an integral part of me without me really knowing or understanding what was going on, I have now submerged myself into the art and now have become truly dedicated to it, for it is not about me at all, but it is about humanity, it is about God, it is about Justice, Truth,Love and Compassion. I plan to give my all in the cause.

However you wish to interpret these images is up to you, but don't take them as just a hobby or a craft, but something more of a voice, moreso voices and stories converted into images. Are you ready to hear them?

Then I'll paint, and you'll listen.
